SEC Power Poll Ballot, Week 2

This week provides a little movement in the SEC Power Poll as conference play started.

Here are our 2nd week’s ballot.  Please let us know what you think by leaving a comment.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide

McCarron leads Alabama to a win. Trent Richardson with a 100 yard game.

2. LSU Tigers

Relaxing weekend for LSU after huge win in first week.

Last Week: LSU 49 Northwestern St. 3

3. Arkansas Razorbacks

Arkansas rushing attack is making strides.  250+ rushing yards and 650+ Total Yards of offense. Only team in SEC to score on all opening drives this season.

4. South Carolina Gamecocks

South Carolina depends on Lattimore once again to pull them ahead. Lattimore had 176 yards on 22 carries. Garcia was miserable as he threw 2 ints to bring Georgia back into the game.

5. Florida Gators

Another great rebuilding game for Florida. Looking good for next year.

6. Auburn Tigers

Auburn bounces back strong against the Bulldogs after barely defeating Utah St in week 1.

Last Week: Auburn 41 Mississippi St. 34

7. Mississippi State Bulldogs

Miss St could not punch it in at the end of game. 3 straight attempts from 2 yard line fell short as time expired.

8. Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia scored 22 points in 4th Quarter while trying to upset defending SEC East Champ South Carolina

Last Week: Georgia 42 South Carolina 45

 

9. Tennessee Volunteers

Tyler Bray threw for 405 yards and 5 Total TDs(4 Passing, 1 Rushing) to lead the Vols over the BearCats.

Last Week: Tennessee 45 Cincinnati 23

10. Kentucky Wildcats

Central Michigan led at halftime. Kentucky’s depth wore down CMU at end.

Last Week: Kentucky 27 Central Michigan 13

11. Ole Miss Rebel Black Bear Ackbars

Jeff Scott filled in for the injured Brandon Boldin and scored 3 TDs to lead Ole Miss to a decisive win

Last Week: Ole Miss 42 Southern Illinois 24

12. Vanderbilt Commodores

Vanderbilt defeats defending Big East Champion.

Last Week: Vanderbilt 24 Connecticut 21
