A tweet from @AP_Top25 on twitter got me thinking about the number of quality wins a team really has during a season.
Their tweet…
I started digging in and was a bit surprised when you look at how high some of these teams are ranked…. Ohio State and Stanford specifically when you look at their quality of wins. I started by finding the number of wins each team had against the current BCS and AP Polls. To break ties I used the average rank of the teams they beat and when that wasn’t enough I gave the edge to the team with the best current rank. here’s what I came up with.
Note: Arkansas has wins over the #3 and #4 team on the list with our only two losses to the #1 and #6 team. Is Arkansas underrated?
